Visitors

A visit that can attach to a work order, an asset, and a zone.

Problem

What this replaces on site

Most gate apps stop at a QR and a selfie. When a vendor arrives to fix a pump, the ticket, the asset, and the zone they are allowed into live in three other tools.

Who uses it

The people on this module

  • Hosts (residents, office, FM)

Pre-approve a guest with a time window and a destination.

  • Guards / front desk

Check in who actually arrived. Stop unexpected walk-ins.

  • Vendors and service staff

Arrive against a job, not a first-name on a paper list.

  • Facility / security leads

See who was in an authorized zone, and which work order they came for.

How to use

Three steps to start

  1. Step 01

    Pre-approve before they arrive

Host sets who, when, and where. Group visits keep an individual record.

  2. Step 02

Check in at the gate — link the job if they are here to work

Attach the visit to a work order or asset when it is a service call, and keep them in the authorized zone.

  3. Step 03

    Check out. History stays searchable

Security, the society office, and a host each see the slice they are allowed to see.

Different from a gate-app QR

The visit can link to a work order, an asset, and an authorized zone. It is not gate QR only.

Visitor flow is operations, not only reception. Store the visit once. When the person is here to work, the ticket and the zone should already know.
